Do I need to prepare for the GMAT?
You should definitely prepare for the GMAT, and prepare thoroughly. It is not enough to turn up on test day and hope for the best! Remember that applications to business schools are highly competitive: a survey by GMAC showed that during 2009, there were 265,613 GMAT exams taken around the world, and for the first time the majority of the examinees were non-US citizens. Additionally, you will be up against candidates who have spent a lot of time and effort preparing for the GMAT. So don't get left behind - set some time aside to dedicate yourself to your preparation.
Each time you take the GMAT the score you receive is valid for 5 years, so every time you send a score report to a business school, all your scores from the past 5 years will be shown on the report.
