If you’re unable to attend a UKCAT course why not take advantage of our Private Tutoring option. We can tailor our UKCAT course to your needs and deliver the course using one-to-one tutoring, thus allowing you to take the UKCAT course at a time that is suitable for you!

Our expert tutor will work with you individually to address your weaknesses on the UKCAT and guide you step by step through the Kaplan strategies and techniques so you can score highly on Test Day.

Tuition packages begin at 10 hours and include all course materials.

Study Materials

Students will receive the same course materials as those taking the Classroom or Live Online courses.

UKCAT Strategy Book

Provides an introduction to computer-based and multiple-choice aptitude tests. This book also details Kaplan strategies for each different UKCAT question type. A ‘Time Management Techniques’ section is included alongside extra UKCAT practice questions are provided too.

Five Full-length UKCAT Practice Tests

Timing on the UKCAT is extremely important. Kaplan provides you with 5 full-length practice tests to help you build your stamina and perfect your pacing so you perform at your best on Test Day. These practice tests should be taken on your own to practice pacing. As they mirror the computerised interface of the actual UKCAT, these tests will help you become familiar with the format of the test and build your confidence, so you can maximise your score on Test Day.

Ongoing Academic Support

Course enrolment includes email access to UKCAT teachers until your test date. Teachers will be available to answer academic questions that arise during your self-study following the course.

Test Format

The UKCAT test contains five sections listed below:

1. Verbal Reasoning
2. Quantitative Reasoning
3. Abstract Reasoning
4. Decision Analysis
5. Non cognitive

Test Scores

Each section of the UKCAT test is scored between 300-900 points except for the final section for which you receive a brief summary.
